Why This Resource Exists
Kansas makes many government records available, but no single search covers every release. The Meade County Sheriff records movement from the county jail. KASPER, operated by the Kansas Department of Corrections, can show state custody, parole, or discharge. Courts document bond, dismissal, sentence, and probation decisions. Federal releases belong to the Bureau of Prisons system. We organize those separate routes so readers can choose the office closest to the fact they need.
Information Organized Here
The site focuses on release verification and official record access. Its pages provide:
- A full home-page path for checking a named person and requesting a Meade jail release record.
- Separate help for an inmate release date, a VINELink release check, and parole or probation.
- Facility pages that explain the Meade jail route and the statewide KDOC route.
- Steps for asking the Sheriff for an existing booking entry, release entry, transfer record, or booking photograph.
Limits of Our Role
Meade County Released Inmates is privately operated. It has no connection to the Meade County Sheriff, any jail, the Kansas Department of Corrections, a court, or another government agency. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA, and its information is not offered for any FCRA-regulated use.
- We cannot release, hold, or transfer a person.
- We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds.
- We cannot give legal advice or interpret an order for a reader.
- We cannot guarantee that an office’s contact details or policies have not changed.
Only the originating sheriff, court, corrections department, or other custodian can provide an official record or confirm a current custody event.
Third-Party Search Partners
Some pages contain search boxes supplied by outside providers. Those providers set their own prices, terms, and result practices. If a tool leads to a paid registration, this site may receive a referral fee that supports free access to the editorial pages. We do not control the provider’s charges or the contents of its results.
